Pantone: Fuchsia Red

The next Pantone color up for discussion is Fuchsia Red. Pantone describes the color as:
Think sensual and seductive Fuchsia Red for clothing, as well as lipstick and nail polish selections, this spring. With its blue undertones, this cool red is a real show-stopper, adding a sense of elegance to the palette.
I really like this color, and have seen it in some pieces this season. I also think this color is super versatile. I think it works with practically all skin tones, could be worn with a ton of different colors, and works in all seasons, not just spring and summer! I do like the "blue undertones" in this shade of fuchsia too - I think it keeps it from being too bright.

What do you think? Do you like this color? Do you own any items in this color?

Interesting post! I love that Pantone has given us an outline for the season's colors. :)

Actually, I don't know that "Fuchsia Red" would work with my skin tone....even though they say it should work with "all." And a lipstick in that color - all I can think of is GAH! Although IRL it might be just fine. Personally I usually go with a deeper shade of maroon that isn't so vibrant. While the Fuchsia Red is pretty, it's just not the right color for me.

I love Pantone's color report - it gives you a good idea of what you might see in that season. I can't wait to go over the fall colors!

And I agree - I would need this darker in lipstick, too :)
