Note

For those of you who are interested, those are my results from the half-marathon this weekend.  We had a ton of fun, and already signed up again for next year's race.  We were a little behind the time were hoping for, but now we just have something to work for next year!  I've been waddling (literally) everywhere since Saturday afternoon, and I'm finally close to back to normal (but not quite).  I have some more reviews for today, and will catch up on comments as well!  As always, thanks for stopping by! :)

Congratulations! Great job! Be very proud of yourself. :)
You can take 600mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours. It was the best recommendation my doctor gave me when I ran the Cape Cod Marathon in October. The next day, I was a bit sore, but was shocked that I felt that good after running so far. :)

Thanks Katy! I am enjoying my rest now - waddled for like 3 days straight. ;)

This probably sounds silly, but I to go as long as possible without taking pain medication - I have this weird thing about building up a tolerance, and then having to take way more than necessary (like The Boyfriend and my mother). I made it through the whole "recovery" period and only took Advil once :)

And wow, you ran a marathon! That's awesome - ugh, can't even imagine going around again :)
