Nordstrom: Half-Yearly Sale

For any Nordstrom fans out there, they announced today [with their eye scorching e-mail] that the Half-Yearly Sale for women and children is going on now.  This sale is going on in-store and online, with savings of 33% or more.

Nordstrom cardholders can also get double points through Saturday, May 23.

J.Crew: Crewcuts Graphics

J.Crew is promoting their line of Crewcuts with a focus on their graphic items - graphic tees, for example.  These items start at $16.50.  

I usually love J.Crew's adult graphic tees, although there have been a few duds for me here and there.  I think their Crewcuts tees are really cute - there have been a couple that I wish they made for adults!

J.Crew FO: Crewcuts Summer On Sale

J.Crew sent around an e-mail announcing that summer Crewcuts styles are on sale at the J.Crew Outlets from now until May 25.  The savings are anywhere from 30 - 60% off; exactly what qualifies as "summer" styles isn't exactly clear, but I was just at my local Outlet this week, and they had some really cute summer clothes!

J.Crew: Crewcuts Dresses

J.Crew is promoting its line of Crewcuts dresses.  They are also reminding you that they are offering free shipping on all Crewcuts, through the end of May.  There is no code required for the free Crewcuts shipping; it is applied automatically.

I have to say that I love Crewcuts dresses.  I often find myself wishing I were one of those really waifish girls so that I could squeeze myself into their adorable designs.  I know that some pieces are complementary or obviously inspired by others, but I would love for J.Crew to adapt some of their Crewcuts designs into adult dresses.

J.Crew Factory Outlets are promoting their Crewcuts line by inviting you to stock up on spring styles, with selected styles at 25 - 50% off. I love Crewcuts at the outlet - with the lower prices and constant sales, it makes buying Crewcuts a little easier to handle.

J.Crew: New Arrivals

J.Crew's latest arrivals showed up on their website today, although several pieces had already popped up in store.

Some of the pieces I reviewed earlier this week are now available online, so here is an update on those:

• The slub-cotton square-neck short-sleeve tee (item #13621)
• The pleated lawn skirt (regular item #14531 and petite (!) item #14986)
• The cotton medallion short (item #12390): I noticed that the pattern seems more random in the picture online, so maybe I just picked up a pair with a different pattern layout.
• The chino critter short (item #12886): These shorts appear as a much lighter purple online than they are in real life.
• The short-sleeve stretch broadcloth shirt (regular item #13326 and petite item #13347)

The white emroidered dress and patio dress are not available online, at least from what I could tell.

There are also men's new arrivals.

J.Crew also announced Crewcuts new arrivals with an e-mail. I love the dress on the left - I picked up a very similar one (I don't think it has pockets) for the Boyfriend's goddaughter at the Outlets not too long ago.
