Banana Republic: Heritage Collection

Banana Republic introduced their new Heritage collection last week, which they say is their take on "eco-chic".  This collection uses sustainable fibers wherever possible, and is described as "effortless, elegant, chic".

I could maybe go for the dress on the left.  But seriously, what is the middle model wearing?  Her satin safari PJs?  The on the right is also a pass for me (except her legs, I'll take a pair of those).

What do you think?  Do you like any of these pieces?  Does anyone else think the middle model's outfit is awful?

You know, I don't understand why designers think "sustainable," "organic," or "eco-friendly" always means "flowy," "baggy," "billowy," or "crazy divinator attempting to channel the spirits from the great beyond."
Why can't they just make pretty, well-fitting clothes with sustainable fibers?! {sigh}

Haha at your last meaning! I agree - they seem to miss the mark with the design. I remember I worked with this lady once, and she was very overweight, and she talked about a similar problem - she said all clothes for really larger women were either potato sacks or trash bags. :(

Just not digging the styles there. Oh well, one less place for me to spend $. Hubby will like that.

I pretty much only get BR stuff at the outlets - I usually like the stuff there better, for some reason!
