J.Crew: Ringspun Necklace V-Neck Tee Review

This is J.Crew's Ringspun Necklace V-Neck Tee (item #15718), which is available in-store and online, and is available in lavender and mineral grey.  It was also available in at least the minty green color below (which is color coded as white), and retails for $34.50.  J.Crew describes the tee as such>

We can't resist this supersoft, easy-to-wear tee. Lightweight, bias-cut cotton with a very soft wash. Fitted. V-neck. Twisted self-trim at neck and cuffs. Short sleeves. Silk-screen necklace cutout design along neckline. Hits at hip. Import. Machine wash.

I tried this tee on in the small, and I really liked the fit and cut of the tee.  I think it fits true-to-size, but still fits nice and casual.  It is a little bit too sheer for me though.

The tee is only colored on the front, and is just a plain white tee from the back.  I'm not sure if I'm the biggest fan of that design though.  I think I would have liked the tee better if it were the same color all around.  That said, I do think the mint green color is super pretty and refreshing.

I am on the fence about the pattern on this tee.  On the one hand I think it's kind of cute, but on the other hand, it's not really my style, and I don't think I'd ever wear it.  I also don't really like "twisted trim" at the neckline.  It looks like this jersey sat at the bottom of the pile of shirts, and the neckline got crushed into this twisted patern (if that makes any sense).

I left this tee behind.  I didn't love the pattern or the neckline, and I just know that I wouldn't wear this.  I can see this looking really cute on others though.
